Collett Capital and build-for-rent executive Creighton Call formed Canvas Residential (“Canvas”) in 2021 to focus on the development of highly-amenitized build-for-rent townhome, cottage-style and single-family detached home communities that cater to the evolving demand for purpose-built and well-located rental communities. Through seasoned relationships with respected land advisors, planning and design professionals, homebuilding partners and property management companies, Canvas will deliver best-in-class purpose-built rental communities proximate to lifestyle and employment drivers. Canvas communities will closely resemble for-sale neighborhoods with multiple floor plans & elevations, garage parking, private rear yards, sidewalks, pocket parks and other lifestyle amenities. Canvas is primarily focused on communities of 60 – 250 homes with traditional multifamily amenities, onsite property management, and a mix of two-to-four-bedroom homes featuring garages and private backyards.
